The Path Finder Educational & Charitable Trust

This Deed of Trust was made on the 13th day of September ,2000 by K.Rahavan,In fond memory of his parents Thiru S.Kanthapalam Nadar and K.Rathinam Ammal,in their endeavour in providing education to him to become the first Graduate and Post-graduate in their native village namely "Veerappa Nadar Kudieruppu",Tiruchendur Taluk,Tuticorin District,Tamil Nadu,S.India,with the following objects and aims:

Educational:

  1. To provide facilities for the education by opening schools and educational institutions,grant scholarships and otherwise help deserving poor students in their education;to open hostels for students.
  2. To establish,found and maintain libraries,reading rooms or the convenience of the public.
  3. To open,found,establish and assist schools for the blind,deaf and dumb and physically disabled and help such individuals.
  4. To publish books,phamplets,souvenirs,magazines,newsletters,dailies,weekly,fortnightly newspapers with the intention of serving the society ,trade,institution,association,industry and commerce.
  5. To produce and to distribute feature films,TV serials,films depicting the ideals of life,poverty,morals,etc useul to the society in general and strictly in conformity with the rules and regulations of the government.

Charitable:

  1. To conduct and to organize mass poor oodings,Annadanams at regular intervals.
  2. To open,found and establish and contribute to the maintenance of orphanages,widow homes,lunatic asylums,poor houses and Home or the aged.
  3. To arrange for matrimonial alliances for the public and perform marriages for the deserving.
  4. To provide medical aids and camps for the deserving.
  5. To assist in relief measures in those parts which are or become subjected to natural calamities like amine,Epidemics,Fire,Flood,dearhs of water,earthquakes,etc.
  6. To distribute dhotis,blankets,rugs,woolen clothings,guilts or cotton.silken or other varieties of clothes to the poor and the needy.
  7. To establish,found and maintain places for charitable purposes.
  8. To carry out all other charitable and welfare activities.

Application fo the Indian Trust Act,1882.

In all matters connected with the Trust,the provisions of the Indian Trust Act,1882 shall apply.

Benefits of the Trust

The benefits of the Trust are open to all,irrespective of caste,religion,sex,etc.No part of the Trust property or its income shall be applied for any purpose which is not a public charitable purpose in law.The income and funds of the Trust shall be solely utilized towards the objects of this Trust and no portion of it will be utilized for payments to Trustee/s.

Registration of this Trust

This Deed of Trust is registered as No:1320 of 2000 in the office of the District Registrar,North Madras on 15-09-2000.

This Deed of Trust is registered with the Income -Tax department viz.DCIT/ACIT Comp Circle V(4)Chennai and the PAN number allotted to this Trust is : AABTT8304K.
