Astrological Prediction is an art

The course of a human life is foreseen from cradle to grave by carefully examining the natal Horoscope with due importance to the various destiny(karmas) indicated therein.But,the Prediction given by one astrologer do not match with another astrolger.The Prediction varies from one astrologer to another very often. Of course, Prediction is an art but that does not mean that an astrologer can give Prediction according to his whims and fancies. Every astrologer should adopt criteria in evaluating the destiny, analyzing the position of planets and assessing the events to happen in the due course.

Astrologers should be empowered by the astral forces

An astrologer should be empowered by the astral forces to bestow Astrological prediction.
Every astrologer is capable of mapping up a horoscope. They possess adequate knowledge of astrology. They make accurate calculations. This does not necessarily mean that their forecast should be realistic and reliable. The most important aspect is that an astrologer should be empowered by the astral forces called the "planets" in his own horoscope to give forecast or say, he possesses some spiritual power, a divine gift Then only, the Predictions and Forecast given by astrologers come true and become realistic, reliable and credible.

Vedic astrologers relied on the observations and characteristic features of the planets.

An illustration: Long ago, in a Kingdom, the Queen gave birth to a male baby. The King invited the court astrologer and asked him to map up the horoscope of the newly born child by giving the time of birth and to foretell the fortunes. The Court astrologer did the same and told the King," Maha Raja, You are ruling one country now. Your son will rule 9 countries!" The king was happy and gave him money. When the Court astrologer came out A dhobi (LAUNDERER) intervened him and asked," My wife also gave birth to a male baby exactly at the same time when the Queen gave birth to a male baby. Will my son also rule 9 countries?" The Court astrologer smilingly said," No. You are a launderer and you are washing the clothes to one village now. Your son will wash clothes for 9 villages."

Calculation Method Varies

Different methods are adopted for calculating the planetary motion. The position of Planets varies in each method. There are two major methods namely "Vakya" and "Thirukkanita". The Vakya method relates to the astronomical calculations and ancient observations adopted and followed by the Divine people, the ancient Seers known as "Rishis". Accurate astronomical records and tables were constructed in ancient India which depicted the assembly of stars, Planets and Satellites, their rotation, revolution, Velocity, direction, distances traveled, Path of the Planetary motion, distance between other heavenly bodies accurately, at any point of time and for any number of years. The contemporary Scientists are surprised at these astronomical findings and calculations, which had been well prepared during the ancient periods and when there were no scientific awareness, equipments and knowledge but modified certain calculations. This modified version of the astronomical calculations by scientists of the contemporary world Is called "Thirukkanitha method".

Intuition
Sometimes the Astrologers may not be able to arrive at a conclusion as to which interpretation is ideal and realistic, due to the indifferent posture of the planetary conditions in a horoscope. On such occasions little spark of reality flows through Prayer to the Favorite Deity or God and appears in the awareness as "Intuition". In such times, the intuition may be taken to arrive at the conclusion.

Prevalence of Divine Grace

While making astrological predictions, the astrologers have to find out whether a life possesses Divine Grace or lacks Divine Grace and for this purpose, Omens may be taken into Consideration.
