Importance of Sexual Compatibility in Matrimonial Matchmaking

A survey conducted on married women by a magazine run exclusively for women, revealed that only 18% of the married women enjoyed happiness in sexual intercourse with their husbands. Though all of them gave birth to children, they did not avail any type of sexual happiness. They had been only children making machines. Women hailing from respectable family, respecting family sentiments, obedient to divine powers, loyal to husbands, obeying the laws of society, etc.undergo unhappiness in sexual life patiently. This commendable trait of women is traced to previous births or destiny. This could have been avoided, if the matrimonial compatibility prescribed by the Vedic astrology is sincerely adhered to, especially by giving importance to sexual habits or sexual compatibility.

We see a handsome boy marrying an ugly or not so beautiful girl and vice-versa. Yet, the couple happily lives together. So also, the body fitness, colour, height, etc.are not compatible to many couple. Yet, the couple happily lives together. It is a common sight that the husband and wife always fight or quarrel with each other daily but continue living together leading a happy life This is attributed to the enjoyment and happiness attained in the sexual intercourse. Therefore sexual compatibility is most important.

The sexual habits of creatures are taken to arrive at sexual Compatibility. Each Nakshatra is codified with the sexual organs of a creature and sexual organs of a similar type derive more satisfaction. For example, Ashwini indicates Male Horse and Shatabisha indicates female Horse. If the couple possesses Ashwini and Shatabisha, their sexual satisfaction is 100%. This is the best matchmaking proposal, subject to certain other important factors. If either one of the couple possesses Ashwini or Shatabisha and the other possessing either Hastha or Swathi which represents buffalo, then the compatibility is 0%. There is no compatibility at all. The idea lying behind is that the sexual habit of Horse is fast and at a high speed whereas that of the buffalo is slow and belated. Therefore, both cannot sexually satisfy each other. Ashwini and Shatabisha may combine with other Nakshatras (except with those of Hastha and swathi), which will yield good sexual satisfaction. Like this, each Nakshatra has to be combined with the other Nakshatra possessing similar or similar type of sexual organ. Our scope is limited to this periphery and therefore, the analysis of causes for the adulteries, elopement, bigamy, and marital misery, etc.are not discussed in a detailed manner overtly. Love failure, one-sided love, inter-caste marriage, and unethical marriages, etc.are all deliberately avoided for discussion here. Marital breakdowns, marital miseries, divorce, are all the fall out of sexual incompatibility. Had there been sexual compatibility between the couples, they would not have been pushed to ill-fated position.

So also, adulteries, bigamy, elopement are all firmly attached to the enjoyment and happiness of sexual intercourse and because of this alone, both are unable to give up the lust between them.
